Explanation of ICANN Fees

Certain domain name registrations or renewals require an additional annual fee of $0.18 applied to each year of registration. For example, if you register a domain name for 2 years, you will be charged an ICANN Fee of $0.36 .

Some TLDs, namely Country Code TLDs (ccTLDs), do not have such a requirement, and no fee will be assessed.

The following TLDs do not carry such a fee: .uk, .fm, .ws, .fo, .cx, .la, .cc, .in, .eu, .sh, .tv, .us, .id, .co, .io, .si, .bz, .pw, .me, .ca, .ac, .st, .nl, .ai .
